A maximum operating temperature of 150°C ensures that NTC thermistors can operate reliably. In order to keep their reliability up, NTC thermistors can operate at -40°C. A NTC thermistor must have the 2 pins connected in order to function properly. In the NTC thermometers, 210mW is the maximum power setting.
