As a result, NTC thermistors must have a resistance tolerance of ±5% in order to function correctly. NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C temperature in order to provide reliable performance. A maximum operating temperature of 125°C ensures that NTC thermistors can operate reliably. In order to keep their reliability up, NTC thermistors can operate at -40°C. A NTC thermistor must have the 2 pins connected in order to function properly.
