In order to prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, these devices are packaged in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. A safety protective package is included with these PTC thermistors. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -55°C. It is important that the operation temperature of this thermistor does not exceed 150°C. The thermistor consists of 2 pins. The maximum capacity of a thermistor to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating should be 100mW.
