Designed to protect these photodiodes against damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in 2-SMD, No Lead packages. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 60V voltage. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 60V. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 2nA current.
