PD438C/S46 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk in order to prevent damage to them. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-226-2, TO-92-2 Long Body packages. It is recommended that the photodiodes are maintained at a constant voltage of 170V in reverse-bias mode. Photodiodes have pins 2. For a circuit, the maximum heat released by the photodiodes should be 150mW. It is possible for the photodiodes in the DC circuit to operate under reverse voltage of 32V. The photodiode operates at 5nA current even in the absence of light input.
