PDI-C172SMF Overview


In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into 2-SMD, No Lead packages. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 60V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 60V. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 4nA current even if no light is provided.
