This harley voltage regulator utilizes the Tape & Reel (TR) package for optimized performance. There is a 16-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) package available for this voltage regulator, as DC DC switching regulator is space-saving. 2 outputs of voltage regulator are configured. On the output pins of this DC DC switching regulator, there is a Fixed output generated. A voltage regulator 12v such as this one fits the Surface Mount mounting bracket. As long as its operating temperature is -40°C~85°C TA, dc to dc voltage regulator should perform well. A DC-DC switching regulator such as this one switches at 40kHz. Despite its low input voltage, this voltage regulator can operate. A maximum design flexibility is provided by the 200mA output current of voltage regulator. The maximum input voltage of voltage regulator is 36V. A voltage of 5V volts can be produced by voltage regulator. The switching regulator operation of the system is controlled by 16 pins. Ideally this switch regulator should have an output voltage of about 5V at the very least. 15V is the supply voltage for this DC-DC switching regulator.
