A Cut Tape (CT) package is used in this voltage regulator to optimize performance. Throughout this voltage regulator, there are 8 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHING REGULATOR ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. The space-saving SOT-23-8 Thin, TSOT-23-8 package is available for this voltage regulator.
