In order to prevent damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in Radial, Side View packages for safety purposes. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. A circuit containing photodiodes can release 150mW heat. For a circuit, the maximum heat released by the photodiodes should be 150mW.
