KSZ8721B Description
The Microchip Technology KSZ8721B is a single-port 10/100 Ethernet physical layer transceiver (PHY) that is designed to provide a low-cost Ethernet connectivity solution for a wide range of embedded systems. This PHY supports both MII (Media Independent Interface) and RMII (Reduced Media Independent Interface) interfaces, making it compatible with a variety of microcontrollers and networking devices. It also features auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDIX, and loopback modes, as well as energy-efficient Ethernet (EEE) support for reduced power consumption.
