Despite its direction, the RMS current (Irms) describes the average strength of the current.Keeping the RMS on-state current under 10 A is important for normal operation of the device.This device has a repetitive peak off-state voltage of 400 V, which is its maximum peak voltage across the device.Its maximal repetitive reverse voltage (Vrrm) is 400 V, meaning it can withstand the maximum amount of voltage in reverse-bias mode.Holding current (hypostatic) for electrical, electromagnetic, and electronic devices is the minimum current passing through a circuit in order for it to remain in an "ON" state.Normal operation requires a peak voltage (V) of [email protected] device's DC gate trigger current-Max is 15 mA, which is what is required to switch the device from the blocked (Off) state to the unblocked (On) state.An SCR's surge current rating is 100, which specifies the maximum amount of non-repetitive current it can withstand during its life span.In this case, the repetitive peak reverse voltage is the maximum instantaneous value of the reverse voltage, including all repetitive transient voltages.
