As the DC current gain is the ratio of the collector current to the base current, for this device the DC current gain is 420 @ 2mA 5V.The collector emitter saturation voltage is 200mV, which allows for maximum design flexibility.When VCE saturation is 600mV @ 5mA, 100mA, transistor means Ic has reached transistors maximum value (saturated).Single BJT transistor is recommended to keep the continuous collector voltage at 100mA in order to achieve high efficiency.A high level of efficiency can be achieved if the base voltage of the emitter remains at 5V.This device has a current rating of 100mA which corresponds to the maximum current it can carry for an indefinite period without deteriorating too much.Single BJT transistor is possible to have a collector current as low as 100mA volts at Single BJT transistors maximum.
