A high-speed half-bridge gate driver IC (integrated circuit) made by STMicroelectronics, the L6362ATR, is intended for use in power electronics applications. It is made specifically to drive MOSFETs and IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) in devices including solar inverters, welding machines, motor control, UPSs, and motors. The L6362ATR is appropriate for usage in synchronous rectification and active clamping topologies because it has low-side and high-side drivers with independent inputs.
