LM5164DDAR Description


LM5164DDAR is a member of synchronous buck converters optimized for reliable and rugged applications. It is able to regulate over a wide input voltage range of 6 V to 100 V, which reduces the need for external surge suppression components to a minimum.  It operates with integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs to provide up to 1-A of output current. Nearly constant switching frequency with excellent load and line transient response can be achieved based on its constant on-time (COT) control architecture. Operating during input voltage dips as low as 6 V, at nearly 100% duty cycle if needed, enables LM5164DDAR synchronous buck converter well suited for wide input supply range industrial and high cell count battery pack applications.
