MSP430F5328IRGCT Description
The TI MSP430TM family of ultra-low-power microcontrollers comprises of a number of components with various peripherals geared at a range of applications. In portable measurement applications, the architecture is tailored to achieve longer battery life through the use of numerous low-power modes. The system includes a potent 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that help the code run as efficiently as possible. The devices are able to transition from low-power modes to active mode in 3.5 seconds thanks to the digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) (typical).
