OPF422 Product Details
OPF422 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-3 packages. The maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 100V. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 100V continuously. Pins 3 are present on the photodiodes. Within the circuit, photodiodes are capable of releasing 200mW heat. In order for photodiodes to operate, the temperature should not exceed 100°C. The minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes, however, should be set to -40°C. In the case of photodiodes, the reverse anode voltage should be 100V. It is possible for the photodiodes to supply 100V voltage when operated in reverse bias mode. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 100pA even without light input.
