BPW83 Overview
The Bulk protects these photodiodes from damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into Radial, Side View packages. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 60V continuously. It has 2 pins for the photodiodes. There was the possibility that photodiodes in a circuit would emit 215mW heat. In the case of photodiodes, the reverse anode voltage should be 60V. To ensure the photodiodes function properly, the breakdown voltage should be 60V. In reverse-biased mode, photodiodes could provide 60V. Without light, a photodiode has 2nA current.
