To protect these photodiodes from damage, the Tape & Reel (TR) is used. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 60V. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. When the photodiodes are placed in a circuit, they may produce heat 215mW. It is recommended that the reverse anode voltage on the photodiodes be 60V. In general, the maximum heat released by the photodiodes should be 215mW in a circuit. In the DC circuit, the photodiodes can function properly with a reverse voltage of 60V. Photodiodes require an electric potential of 1V in order to conduct current. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces 1nA current.
