A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into Radial packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 75V when operating in reverse-bias mode continuously. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 75V permanently. Make sure photodiodes work with 100V breakdown voltage. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 5nA current.
