In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into Chip with 34 Gauge BUSS Wire packages. It is possible for the photodiodes to withstand 25V voltage in reverse-bias mode on a continuous basis. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 25V. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 6nA current even if no light is provided.
