As explained above, DC current gain takes into account the rate at which the base current flows through the collector current; therefore, DC current gain for this device is 12 @ 3A 4V.Saturation of VCE means Ic is at its maximum value (saturated), and VCE saturation (Max) is 1.5V @ 1A, 5A.The base voltage of the emitter can be kept at 5V to achieve high efficiency.During maximum operation, collector current can be as low as 5A volts.
