As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46 packages. Photodiodes have a pin count of 3. Within a circuit, photodiodes could generate 150mW heat. In order for photodiodes to operate, the temperature should not exceed 125°C. It should be noted that the photodiodes should be operated at -55°C as a minimum operating temperature. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 150mW in a circuit. It is possible for a photodiode to produce 250nA even without light input.
