BD140 is a Plastic Medium-Power Silicon PNP Transistor manufactured by onsemi. The onsemi BD140 is used for medium power, linear, and switching applications. This series of plastic, medium-power PNP transistors are designed for use as audio amplifiers and drivers utilizing complementary or quasi-complementary circuits. The BD140 is offered in the TO-225-3 package. It is specified for operation from –55°C to +150°C.
