DC current gain' is equal to the ratio of the collector current to the base current, something like Ic/Ib, and this device has 4000 @ 500mA 10V DC current gain.A collector emitter saturation voltage of 2.5V ensures maximum design flexibility.When VCE saturation is 2.5V @ 500μA, 500mA, transistor means Ic has reached transistors maximum value (saturated).Keeping the emitter base voltage at 5V can result in a high level of efficiency.Input voltage breakdown is available at 50V volts.Single BJT transistor is possible to have a collector current as low as 500mA volts at Single BJT transistors maximum.
