As a result of the use of the Tape & Reel (TR) package, the performance of this voltage regulator is optimized. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the TO-220-5 Formed Leads package. The voltage regulator is configured with 1 outputs. DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. A Through Hole mounting is required for this switching regulator.
