The Tape & Reel (TR) method is used for packaging clock ICs. The 44-VFQFN Exposed Pad package embeds this Clock PLL. This clock generator will sustain a maximum temperature of 260 when reflown. This Clock PLL will be fed by CML, LVCMOS, LVDS, LVPECL, Crystal as its input. 2 circuits are implemented to access the electronic component's full performance. An upper frequency limit of 350MHz Max can be achieved with this clock-based frequency synthesizer. The Surface Mount allows this electrical component to be easily installed on the panel. As long as there are 1.71V~1.98V 3.14V~3.47V supply voltages provided, clock generator ic should work. Statistics suggest that the ambient temperature be set at -40°C~85°C TA, which is what is estimated by the test. A frequency synthesizer which is compatible with the CML, HCSL, LVCMOS, LVDS, LVPECL logic levels is presented here.
