As dc = Ic/Ib, DC current gain is the ratio of base current to collector current, and DC current gain for this device is 5.5 @ 5A 5V.A VCE saturation (Max) of 2V @ 1.25A, 5A means Ic has reached its maximum value(saturated).Single BJT transistor is recommended to keep the continuous collector voltage at 10A in order to achieve high efficiency.Keeping the emitter base voltage at 10V allows for a high level of efficiency.In extreme cases, the collector current can be as low as 10A volts.
