As the DC current gain is the ratio of the collector current to the base current, for this device the DC current gain is 1000 @ 3A 3V.This design offers maximum flexibility with a collector emitter saturation voltage of 2V.In VCE saturation, Ic is at its maximum value (saturated), and the vce saturation (Max) is 4V @ 20mA, 5A.An emitter's base voltage can be kept at 5V to gain high efficiency.This device has a current rating of 5A which corresponds to the maximum current it can carry for an indefinite period without deteriorating too much.The maximum collector current is 5A volts.
