LMR23615DRRR Switcher Description


The LMR23615 SIMPLE SWITCHER is a 36-V, 1.5-A synchronous step-down regulator that is simple to use. The device's wide input range of 4 V to 36 V makes it suitable for a variety of industrial applications requiring power conditioning from unregulated sources. To achieve simple control-loop compensation and cycle-by-cycle current limiting, peak current mode control is used. The device is suitable for battery-powered systems due to its quiescent current of 75 A. A 2-A shutdown current can further extend battery life. Internal loop compensation relieves the user of the time-consuming task of loop-compensation design while also reducing the number of external components required. Cycle-by-cycle current limitation, hiccup-mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown due to excessive power dissipation are all protection features.
