As the DC current gain is the ratio of the collector current to the base current, for this device the DC current gain is 300 @ 100mA 2V.A collector emitter saturation voltage of -230mV ensures maximum design flexibility.In VCE saturation, Ic is at its maximum value (saturated), and the vce saturation (Max) is 320mV @ 50mA, 3A.Single BJT transistor is essential to maintain the continuous collector voltage at -3A to achieve high efficiency.A high level of efficiency can be achieved if the base voltage of the emitter remains at 5V.Its current rating is -3A, which means that it can sustain a maximum current for an indefinite period of time without degrading too much.Breakdown input voltage is 12V volts.During maximum operation, collector current can be as low as 3A volts.
