The IRGPC40FD2 is an insulated gate bipolar transistor with an ultrafast soft recovery diode. The well-known IGBT range from International Rectifier is naturally expanded by co-packaged IGBTs. They offer a variety of high-voltage, high-current, motor control, UPS, and power supply applications the convenience of an IGBT and an ultrafast recovery diode in a single package, which has significant advantages.
