As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). It is necessary to place the photodiodes into 2-SMD, Gull Wing packages in order to protect them from damage. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 40V continuously. Pins 2 are present on the photodiodes. The photodiodes could release 150mW heat within a circuit. It is recommended that the reverse anode voltage on the photodiodes be 40V. Photodiodes require an electric potential of 800mV in order to conduct current. The photodiodes could supply 40V voltage in reverse-bias mode. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 1nA current.
