STX616-AP Overview
The DC current gain is the ratio of the base current to the collector current βdc = Ic/Ib and the DC current gain for this device is 12 @ 500mA 5V.The collector emitter saturation voltage is 1V, giving you a wide variety of design options.As a result of vce saturation, Ic reaches its maximum value (saturated), and vce saturation(Max) is 1V @ 200mA, 1A.The base voltage of the emitter can be kept at 12V to achieve high efficiency.An input voltage of 500V volts is the breakdown voltage.In extreme cases, the collector current can be as low as 1.5A volts.
