As the DC current gain is the ratio of the collector current to the base current, for this device the DC current gain is 10000 @ 500mA 5V.This design offers maximum flexibility with a collector emitter saturation voltage of 1.25V.Single BJT transistor means that Ic is at Single BJT transistors maximum value (saturated), so the vce saturation(Max) is equal to 1.25V @ 8mA, 800mA.In order to achieve high efficiency, the continuous collector voltage should be kept at 800mA.The emitter base voltage can be kept at 10V for high efficiency.In definition, current rating refers to the maximum current a fuse can carry for an indefinite period without deteriorating too much, and the current rating of this device is 800mA.A maximum collector current of 800mA volts can be achieved.
