TIP42AG Overview
As explained above, DC current gain takes into account the rate at which the base current flows through the collector current; therefore, DC current gain for this device is 15 @ 3A 4V.A collector emitter saturation voltage of 1.5V ensures maximum design flexibility.A VCE saturation (Max) of 1.5V @ 600mA, 6A means Ic has reached its maximum value(saturated).If the emitter base voltage is kept at 5V, a high level of efficiency can be achieved.According to definition, current rating describes the maximum current a fuse can carry indefinitely without deteriorating too much, and this device has no current rating.Single BJT transistor contains a transSingle BJT transistorion frequency of 3MHz.Breakdown input voltage is 60V volts.A maximum collector current of 6A volts is possible.
