MMBT2222A Description
MMBT2222A is an NPN transistor hence the collector and emitter will be left open (Reverse biased) when the base pin is held at the ground and will be closed (Forward biased) when a signal is provided to the base pin.
The MMBT2222A's maximum gain value is 300, which sets the transistor's amplification capability. We can't connect loads that utilize more than 600mA continuous current and 800mA peak current because the Collector pin can only transport 600mA continuous current and 800mA peak current. To bias a transistor, we must feed current to the base pin; this current (IB) should be limited to 5mA with a base-emitter value of 6V.
