As the DC current gain is the ratio of the collector current to the base current, for this device the DC current gain is 100 @ 100mA 5V.This system offers maximum design flexibility due to a collector emitter saturation voltage of 120mV.VCE saturation indicates Ic is at maximum level (saturated), whereas vce saturation (Max) indicates there is no saturation.The base voltage of the emitter can be kept at 6V to achieve high efficiency.A breakdown input voltage of 160V volts can be used.In extreme cases, the collector current can be as low as 700mA volts.
