2SA2040-E Overview
This device has a DC current gain of 200 @ 500mA 2V, which is the ratio between the base current and the collector current.With a collector emitter saturation voltage of -230mV, it offers maximum design flexibility.When VCE saturation is 400mV @ 40mA, 2A, transistor means Ic has reached transistors maximum value (saturated).Emitter base voltages of 6V can achieve high levels of efficiency.In extreme cases, the collector current can be as low as 8A volts.
