FGPF4533 Description


The LM5165DRCT is a 3- to 65-volt ultra-low IQ synchronous buck converter with outstanding efficiency across a wide input voltage and load current range. Up to 150 mA of output current can be provided with integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs at fixed output voltages of 3.3 V or 5 V or at an adjustable output. The converter is intended to make implementation as simple as possible while also giving choices for optimizing performance for the target application. For best light-load efficiency, PFM mode is chosen, or Constant On-Time (COT) control is chosen for a nearly constant running frequency.

Both control techniques provide outstanding line and load transient response and quick PWM on-time for large step-down conversion ratios while requiring no loop correction. The LM5165DRCT buck converter comes in a 10-pin, 3-mm x 3-mm VSON-10 packaging with a 0.5-mm pin pitch.
